Zhanel yearns for the comfort of her dreams to save her from a terrifying daymare, her waking life. The worst human experiences aren’t like a cheap slasher; they don’t come at night but in broad daylight. The real terror is the tedium of mundane modern existence, killing all of us by degrees, often without our knowing it. With the help of a psychiatrist she meets in her dreamscape, Zhanel finds creative ways of solving her problems and discovers her deepest self, whom she calls Night Fly.
