Sean Iwamoto, M.D.
University of Colorado

​Dr. Sean Iwamoto is a board-certified endocrinologist from Aurora, CO, where he is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center. He received his M.D. from the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry. He completed his internal medicine residency and chief residency at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, CA. Dr. Iwamoto did fellowship training at University of Colorado School of Medicine, where he co-founded the UCHealth Integrated Transgender Program. His research focuses on the intersection of transgender health, obesity and aging, particularly related to the impacts of chronic gender-affirming hormone therapy on vascular and metabolic health in older versus younger transgender adults. Dr. Iwamoto is funded through a VA Advanced Fellowship in Geriatrics, the University of Colorado Center for Women's Health Research, Colorado Nutrition Obesity Research Center, and the World Professional Association for Transgender Health. He also serves as Co-Chair of the Endocrine Society's Special Interest Group for Transgender Research and Health.

Susan Lee, D.C.
Flourish Family Chiropractic

Dr. Susan Lee is originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and has always had a passion for helping others. She received her undergraduate degree in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley. She went on to pursue a Doctorate of Chiropractic at Sherman College of Chiropractic in South Carolina where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in March 2019. After graduation, she moved to Colorado and opened a private practice in Aurora. Dr. Susan has Certified Advanced Proficiency in Torque Release Technique, which has been proven through research to be one of the most specific and scientific chiropractic techniques in the world. Her hope is to reach as many people in her community as possible so that they can flourish in life and live to their full potential.

​Outside of serving at Flourish Family Chiropractic, you can find Dr. Susan hiking in one of the many nearby trails, spending time with family and friends, reading a book, and traveling.

Geri Tien, PhD, LCP
Asian Pacific Development Center

Nai Chieh (Geri) Tien, Ph.D is a Licensed Psychologist and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She works at the Behavioral Health Clinic at the Asian Pacific Development Center. The clinic provides mental and behavioral health services targeting Asian and Pacific Islander immigrants and refugees in the Denver Metro area and the state of Colorado. She is also an Adjunct faculty member at the University of Northern Colorado and University of Denver, where she passes on her clinical experience and knowledge to other professionals who work with AAPI communities on issues relating to immigrants, refugees, acculturation, and cultural gaps between generations - the last of which is the main focus of her work in counseling and psychotherapy.
