A documentary short exploring the conversations during end-of-life care with pediatric Palliative care specialist Dr. Nadia Tremonti. Palliative also highlights the caretakers and families working with Dr. Tremonti. Filmed in Detroit at the Children's Hospital of Michigan over several years 'Palliative' aims to introduce this vital area of care struggling to overcome the stigmas of death and dying.

Associate Professor of Ethnic Studies Associate Dean for Student Success, College of Arts and Sciences Daryl Joji Maeda is Associate Dean for Student Success in the College of Arts and Sciences and Associate Professor of Ethnic Studies at the University of Colorado Boulder. He has published two books on Asian American activism during the 1960s and 1970s, Reconsidering the Asian American Movement (2012) and Chains of Babylon: The Rise of Asian America (2009), a co-edited volume on the ethnic history of Colorado, and various essays and book chapters. Currently, he is writing a cultural history of the martial artist and actor Bruce Lee. |

Love Boat: Taiwan
Soe is an award-winning filmmaker, artist, and writer. Since 1986, her experimental videos, installations, and documentary films have won dozens of awards, grants, and commissions. They have been exhibited worldwide at venues such as the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles the Museum of Modern Art, and the New Museum in New York City. She has published extensively in books and journals, including Countervisions: Asian American Film Criticism, Asian Cinema, and Amerasia Journal. Soe is the author of the blog Beyond Asiaphilia. Her latest film is LOVE BOAT: TAIWAN. |
